Cleaning the surface of GRC products requires targeted cleaning methods and reagents based on the type and degree of contamination. Improper cleaning may damage the surface coating, affecting appearance and service life. Based on extensive engineering practice, Qinglong GRC has developed a scientific and effective cleaning technology system.

During the maintenance of the Wuhan Han Show Theater, when facing contamination on the red GRC curtain wall, the Qinglong cleaning team adopted a graded treatment approach: ordinary dust was removed with a neutral detergent and soft-bristle brush; stubborn stains were treated locally with a specialized stain remover; biological contamination was cleared with an anti-mildew agent. After cleaning, the surface color restoration rate reached over 95%, with no damage to the coating. The cleaning standards established by the project, including specific parameters such as reagent concentration, action time, and rinsing pressure, have become an industry reference standard.

Cleaning Solution for Ordinary Dust

Use a neutral detergent with a pH of 6-8, diluted at a ratio of 1:50. Scrub with a soft-bristle brush or sponge and rinse with clean water. Water pressure should not exceed 80 Bar, and water temperature should not exceed 40°C. After cleaning, check the surface for any detergent residue.

Treatment Methods for Stubborn Stains

For special contamination such as grease and rust stains, use a specialized stain remover. Test on an inconspicuous area first to determine the optimal concentration and action time. Rinse thoroughly with clean water immediately after treatment to avoid chemical residue.

Biological Contamination Removal Techniques

Treat moss and mildew with an anti-mildew agent, diluted according to instructions and sprayed on. Maintain an action time of 10-15 minutes, then scrub to remove. For severely affected areas, the number of treatments may be increased, but avoid excessive use of chemicals.

Cleaning Safety Precautions

Fasten safety ropes when working at heights and set up warning zones. Provide waterproof protection for electrical equipment. Wear protective gear when using chemicals. Collect and treat cleaning wastewater to comply with environmental protection requirements.
