The final price of GRC products is a multidimensional reflection of their value, shaped by multiple interwoven factors including raw material costs, production process complexity, R&D investment, artistic design content, depth of service, and project management standards. Based on 28 years of refined management experience, Qinglong GRC can systematically analyze the weight and influence mechanism of each factor on price.
In the Wuhan Han Show Theater project, Qinglong GRC's pricing fully reflected each value dimension: to perfectly recreate the "Chinese red lantern" shape, substantial investment was made in digital design and high-precision mold development (about 20% of total cost); specially formulated low-alkali cement and zirconia-type alkali-resistant glass fiber were adopted, making raw material costs 30% higher than ordinary products; the spray-up forming and hand-finishing processes for curved panels greatly increased labor costs; and BIM collaboration throughout the project along with on-site technical guidance constituted significant service value. Although the final quote was higher than ordinary curtain walls, the architectural and artistic value achieved is immeasurable.
High-quality GRC must use Grade 52.5 low-alkali sulfoaluminate cement (alkali content ≤0.6%), zirconia-type alkali-resistant glass fiber (ZrO₂ content ≥16.5%), and carefully selected graded aggregates. These specialty raw materials cost 2-3 times more than ordinary materials, but they are the fundamental guarantee of long-term product durability.
The cost difference between fully automated production lines and manual work is significant. Mold development fees for special-shaped components, losses amortized from low yield rates, and energy consumption of special curing processes all add to the cost. The more complex the process and the higher the precision requirements, the higher the price.
This includes intellectual investment such as parametric design, structural calculation optimization, and development of new connection systems. Products with patented technology usually carry a technical premium. Qinglong continuously invests 5% of annual sales revenue in R&D, and these innovation costs need to be reasonably amortized.
Professional technical services spanning the entire process—from early-stage scheme consulting, BIM detailed design, and production process supervision to on-site installation guidance and later maintenance—constitute an important part of the product price.
Understanding the components of GRC pricing helps clients shift from "price consumption" to "value investment". Qinglong GRC adheres to transparent cost analysis, allowing clients to clearly see the value of every investment.
