Significant differences in durability do exist among UHPC products from different manufacturers. According to accelerated aging tests and engineering practice data, premium UHPC products can have a service life of over 100 years, while ordinary products may only last 30-50 years.

In the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center project, Qinglong UHPC roof panels have withstood 8 years of tropical marine climate, with a carbonation depth of only 0.2mm and a chloride ion diffusion coefficient below 1×10⁻¹²m²/s. During the same period, some other manufacturers' products have already shown surface weathering under identical conditions. This difference mainly stems from variations in raw material quality, production processes, and quality control systems.

Premium UHPC uses high-quality raw materials such as Grade 52.5 low-alkali cement and silica fume, which cost 20-30% more than ordinary materials, but this is the fundamental guarantee of durability.
