Do UHPC Prices Vary Greatly Between Manufacturers? An In-Depth Analysis of Cost Composition

Price differences among different UHPC manufacturers do indeed exist, mainly stemming from differences in cost structure and product positioning. High-end brands typically focus on R&D investment and quality control, resulting in relatively higher prices; meanwhile, some regional manufacturers may reduce costs by simplifying production processes, making their quotes more competitive. Qinglong UHPC adopts a differentiated pricing strategy, offering both economical products and high-end customization capabilities.

Raw material quality is the primary factor behind price differences. Although the imported cement and special fibers we use cost more, they ensure the stability of material performance. In the Shanghai Astronomy Museum project, to achieve special artistic effects, we used customized raw materials, which accounted for approximately 40% of the total product price. In comparison, products made with ordinary materials can be priced 20-30% lower.

The level of advancement in production processes also affects prices. Although the CNC production lines introduced by Qinglong increased equipment investment, they improved material utilization and product precision, which in fact reduces overall costs in the long run. In the Yangshengtang Pharmaceutical project, by optimizing production processes, we achieved a price reduction of 15% compared to the budget while ensuring quality.
