UHPC exterior wall decorative lines have become a popular choice for high-end architectural decoration thanks to their advantages of light weight, high strength, flexible styling, and excellent durability. Their manufacturing process covers multiple core stages, including design development, production forming, and installation, and precise control of each stage determines the final decorative effect and structural safety. As a full-chain UHPC service supplier, Qinglong draws on mature process technology and extensive project experience to create UHPC exterior wall decorative lines that combine aesthetics with performance.
Design development is the foundation of the entire process and directly affects subsequent production and installation. Qinglong first carries out in-depth component design using BIM technology based on the project's architectural drawings, defining the dimensions, shapes, and cross-section forms of the decorative lines, optimizing component splitting (to avoid transportation and installation difficulties with oversized components), and reserving installation nodes and connection holes. Combined with the material properties of UHPC, structural mechanical verification is performed to ensure the stability of the lines under self-weight, wind loads, and other forces. Mold design adopts 3D modeling technology, with polyurethane or steel molds made for complex shapes (such as curves and reliefs) to ensure mold precision (tolerance ≤±2mm). For the UHPC decorative lines of the Nanning New Media Center, whose architectural form features irregular twists, Qinglong used BIM technology to split the design into thousands of unique components, each with a precisely calculated mold design, ensuring a continuous and smooth decorative effect after installation.
Production forming is the core stage for ensuring product quality and consists of three steps: batching and mixing, casting and forming, and curing. Batching and mixing uses automated metering equipment, with proportions strictly following Qinglong's patented formula (cement, quartz sand, alkali-resistant glass fiber, high-performance admixtures, and clean water); mixing time is controlled at 5-8 minutes to ensure mix uniformity and workability (flow spread ≥700mm). For casting and forming, the appropriate process is selected according to the line shape: simple lines use casting, while complex shapes use a combined spraying + pressing process to ensure component compactness; after casting, surfaces are troweled smooth to remove air bubbles and defects. For curing, steam curing or non-steam curing is selected based on project requirements: steam curing temperature is controlled at 90-100℃ for 12-24 hours, while non-steam curing uses a standard curing room for more than 14 days to ensure the required strength is achieved. For the UHPC decorative lines of the Guangzhou Xinghewan project, Qinglong's standardized production achieved surface flatness tolerance of ≤1mm, with shape precision fully meeting design requirements.
Installation is key to achieving the decorative effect and must balance safety with aesthetics. Before installation, on-site layout and positioning are carried out, using 3D laser scanning technology to ensure an accurate installation datum. The appropriate installation method is selected based on the weight and size of the lines: light lines use a dry-hanging method (connected to the wall via hangers), while heavy lines use a combined embedded + dry-hanging method to ensure secure connections (pull-out resistance ≥5kN). During installation, temporary fixing measures are adopted to adjust the levelness, verticality, and straightness of the lines; joints between adjacent components are controlled at 2-3mm and filled with special sealant to ensure waterproofing and aesthetics. After installation, surface cleaning and finished-product protection are carried out to prevent damage from subsequent construction. For the Zhongshan Agile Fandeng project, Qinglong's UHPC exterior wall decorative lines were installed with precision controlled within ±2mm and smooth joints, earning high recognition from the designers and the owner.
Qinglong's UHPC exterior wall decorative line manufacturing process embodies the core advantages of "precise design, industrialized production, and standardized installation," with strict quality control standards and technical specifications at every stage. From the complex-shaped lines of the Wuhan Han Show Theatre to the classical-style lines of Shanghai Xinghewan, Qinglong's full-process control capability has successfully brought a wide range of design concepts to life. For designers and owners, choosing a supplier with full-chain process capability is essential. With 28 years of process expertise and project experience, Qinglong provides one-stop services from design to installation for every UHPC exterior wall decorative line project, creating architectural decoration masterpieces that combine artistic beauty with structural safety.
